Have there been any piano transcriptions or piano-related spinoffs? It's the famous horn theme, which can be heard starting from around 23:50 in the video: I love Sibelius (though he's no Sergei) and his Symphony 5 has one such theme worth particular consideration (among many!). Polyphonist recently had a thread asking about 'big' tunes, but I'm also just talking about recognizable melodies that most people have heard and yet don't know the name of (but would be happy to listen to). When I'm not humming, listening to, reading about, daydreaming about, or pretending I can play Rachmaninoff (just walked in the door with Vocalise and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini on my lips, 4th concerto is on now), the greatest thing that ever happened to me since I got to first play a piano 8 years ago and convince a music teacher to admit me to the practice rooms after-hours, I like to identify 'crowd-pleasing' themes in classical music.
